Make a splash together! Preschool & Parent introduces children ages 2–5 to the water with a parent or guardian required in the pool. Through playful, instructor-led activities, swimmers build comfort, water safety habits, and basic skills—setting them up for success in future swim lessons.

Build strong, confident swimmers! Group Swim Lessons for ages 5–13 focus on water safety, confidence, and fun while teaching new skills, strokes, and technique refinements. Adaptive Aquatics offers supportive swim sessions for individuals with special needs, focusing on safety and fun. Build confidence, fitness, mobility, and coordination while working toward personal goals in an encouraging environment alongside families and staff.

If an individual is not able to safely hold the wall or stand independently, an aide may be required to be in the water with the participant, as these are group lessons and we want all participants to remain safe. The aide will not be required to pay admission, as they are necessary for the individual’s participation.

Designed for youth ages 5-10. Basics of swimming, lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid will be covered. Each week we will take it to another level with games, projects/crafts, swimming, and a ton of adventurous fun. Come cascade with us!

American Red Cross Junior Guard is designed for youth ages 11–14 and provides a strong foundation in lifeguarding basics and important life skills like leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. Participants begin with a classroom-focused week to learn about emergency response, recognizing and preventing problems, and providing care.

During the second week (Shadow Week), participants work alongside BBAC lifeguards on deck to see what the job is really like—how guards communicate, monitor zones, respond, and support guests in a real-time environment.

Attendance is required for every class session. For Shadow Week, only one shadow shift is required (participants are welcome to attend additional shifts if space allows). All participants receive a Junior Guard T-shirt.

Turn school holidays into the best day ever! Creative Waves Day Camp packs the day with swimming, crafts, hands-on STEM activities, and fun skill-building like basic lifeguard and CPR practice (age-appropriate). Kids stay active, make new friends, and head home happy—while parents enjoy worry-free childcare in a safe, supervised environment.

Anglers, get ready to hook the big one! We stock the outdoor leisure pool with hundreds of pounds of catfish for a one-of-a-kind fishing experience right at BBAC. Bring your own pole or borrow one of ours on site.

This friendly competition is open to ages 2–17 and individuals with special needs. It’s all about fishing fun, the outdoors, and making memories with family. Trophies are awarded to the top catchers in each division.

Register early to guarantee entry—capacity is limited to keep the event safe, comfortable, and celebratory.

BBAC opens exclusively for our special-needs community and their families for a sensory-friendly swim in a calmer, more comfortable environment. Enjoy inclusive water time, patient and supportive staff, and welcoming spaces designed to help everyone feel at ease. Families of individuals with autism, Down syndrome, and all other special needs are invited—this is a morning built on understanding, acceptance, and splashy fun.

After 11:00 am, BBAC opens to the general public, but participants are welcome to stay and continue enjoying the pool during regular hours.
